What does the * mean ?
No Win - No Fee - The current regulations allow your solicitor to make a charge in the following exceptional circumstances:
- fraudulent claims
- where the client is consistently uncooperative.
It will not cost you a penny - If you are involved in an accident where the driver or vehicle owner cannot be traced or identified ("hit and run") i.e. there is no insurance company to claim from, these are dealt with by the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) and, as with all other solicitors, we would need to enter into an agreement with you about our costs. The same would apply to Criminal Injuries Compensation claims (e.g. assault)
